Ok, I got it

My name is Michael Shepherd and I currently live in a small town in Northern Ontario known as Capreol with my beautiful wife and daughter as well as our two dogs. Although I am retired, I still find time to write short stories and to get involved with the community church as well as the community theatre. My odyssey into the wonderful world of theatre arts began when I answered an ad in the Toronto Star. The East Side Players wanted actors for a CODL Festival entry of the play "Poor Bitos." I phoned and without the foggiest idea of how to audition, was invited to attend the next rehearsal. I did and was cast in the role of Phillipe/Danton. All of the entries in this blog follow from that moment. The East Side Players hold a special place in my actors soul and I will be forever thankful to them for giving me that first chance and for the encouragement they gave me subsequently.
